The Famous Family Five ticket

Bayside Trains and Hillside Trains

Page last modified/checked: Sunday, 16 December 2001
This promotion was aimed at attracting family groups to some of Melbourne's more well known leisure destinations. The two ticket types (from Zone 1, or from Zones 2 and 3) allowed a family of five (up to two adults and three children under 15 years) rail travel to the city, then discounts and special offers at "a number of Melbourne's most famous family landmarks - Southgate, the Rialto Towers, The Melbourne Zoo, The Melbourne Aquarium and Fame the musical at the Victorian Arts Centre". The tickets were available on any Saturday or Sunday in January or February 2000 (8.1.2000 to 27.2.2000).
