These machines were not located at Bondi Junction or Edgecliff as it is these stations that the co-ordinated bus routes fed into.

The UT 2/81 and UT 3/81 were printed in distinctly different shades. The three month validity notice has been deleted from the front. Of interest is the fact that the term "Commission" had been retained some 8 months after the creation of the State Rail Authority.

A new front design was in use by the UT5/82 printing. The rear wording at the fourth point was altered.
