These tickets had catered for the heavy usage of the Tramways Boards' service by students for as long as anyone can recall. The period of the zone system was to be, like most of the Boards tickets shown here, its last appearance. It is interesting to note that the point of origin "from" has not been filled out as "Glen Iris Terminus", which is the actual location of the road intersections described. The holder of this ticket connected there with a Ventura bus, and the ticket for that portion is illustrated in the section "Private Bus Issues". The combined cost of this trip to school was still cheaper paid for in this way than with any form of Travelcard.
