Concession Weekly Travelcards

Throughout this website, we have referred to staff circulars, which basically are an internal means of communication from various divisions of management to operational staff. Here we decided to use the actual circular that advised staff of the introduction of the concession weekly travelcards so you can see it as they did. We have placed the actual tickets over the images on the circular.

It will be seen that the black highlighted word "CONCESSION" was a clearer means of identifying these tickets then the original white bar. Later, ticket issuing staff had to be warned to check the expiry date on whatever means of authority was being presented to purchase these tickets to see that its expiry date did not fall before that about to be stamped on the ticket.
