MMTB Periodical Pass

Introduced 7th July 1969

These thin card tickets were carried on board each bus for issue to passengers who intended to purchase the combined bus/rail weekly for that route on arrival at the railway station. The fare charged for this ticket was offset against the cost of the weekly ticket, upon surrender of the pass. A standardised design as shown here was applicable to all MMTB routes on which a combined bus/rail weekly was available. The sections shown on the pass were based on the MMTB's fare structure which existed at that time. Thus, section 4 was charged at the same rate as section 5; sections 6, 7, 8 and 9 were all charged as section 9.
