Seymour Coaches operate local bus services within the Seymour township which incorporate services to the nearby Puckapunyal army training facility.
Most of these bus services are timed to make connections with V/line train services to and from Melbourne. Myki went live on these buses from
Monday 23rd March 2009. From our observations the Seymour town buses are only a front entry/exit design which require a single card reader.
Seymour Coaches also operate town and connector services to the Wallan and Kilmore East railway stations
however these will not go over to Myki until V/line services are similarly equipped.

With the launch of Myki in Seymour a retailer had to be found and the Australia Post Shop opposite the railway station now sells Myki cards
and has a small range of generic Myki literature. Receipts generated for Myki cards simply refer to them as a "miscellaneous sales".
Publicity for Seymour included newspaper advertisements, a visit by the Myki mobile education centre, the presence of Myki mates
and the provision of the "welcome on board booklet" suitably modified for Seymour.

The myki cards are identical with those issued in Geelong. The one exception is the nunbering on the Child issue. Like Geelong, the child
card commences with 3 08425 but the next four digits are 0001 whereas the Geelong card has 0000.
We have not seen a Seymour Short Term ticket as yet.
