Student Passes 2009

2009 was the final year for metcard student passes. The availability of the 2009 metropolitan passes was greatly enhanced to match that which would have been available had myki been implemented by this time. This is reflected in the wording "Victorian Student Pass" and indeed, allows unrestricted travel on all metropolitan transport, V/Line rail and bus services and regional town bus services! This year's passes wisely omitted any reference to myki.
