2006 Commonwealth Games seriesEarliest known issue: 1st January 2006Page last modified/checked: Friday, 16 June, 2006This Moores issue eventually encompassed three separate designs, each promoting the use of public transport to get to and from Commonwealth Games venues. The games were held at various sites between the 15 - 26 March 2006. Also promoted was the fact that holders of valid Games tickets were able to travel for free on that day only "on Metcard services only". More information was provided at the Commonwealth Games website (since removed).
