There were five Newcastle Travelpasses on issue, available as either Adult or Concession fares. The first two were available for bus and ferry use only,
whilst the last three all had a distance based rail component.

The Blue Travelpass was available for unlimited travel by bus and ferry in the Inner Newcastle zone.
This ticket was withdrawn from sale from the 6th January 1997.

The Orange Travelpass was available for unlimited travel by bus and ferry in the Newcastle Suburban Area, both Inner and Outer zones.
This ticket is still currently available.

The Red Travelpass was equivalent to the Blue Travelpass as far as bus and ferry travel was concerned, but was also available for unlimited rail travel within the area bounded by Sandgate and Cardiff. This ticket was withdrawn from sale from the 6th January 1997.

The Yellow Travelpass was equivalent to the Orange Travelpass as far as bus and ferry travel was concerned, but was also available for unlimited rail travel within the area bounded by Thornton and Booragul. This ticket was withdrawn from sale from Sunday the 29th March 2009.

The Pink Travelpass was equivalent to the Orange Travelpass as far as bus and ferry travel was concerned, but was also available for unlimited rail travel within the area bounded by Telarah, Farley, Awaba abd Toronto. This ticket was withdrawn from sale from Sunday the 29th March 2009.

The Green Travelpass was introduced as a replacement for both the Yellow and Pink Travelpasses from Sunday 29th March 2009.
It has the same availability as the Pink Travelpass.
