The BOM Audit print out card was used by booking clerks to provide a summary of sales from their terminal to be checked against the cash held in the drawer. The money recieved from eight different fare type transactions plus a total would be printed to the left of the pre-printed list.
The first card is from the earlier days of the ESR, whilst the red pre-printed card is later but of identical style.
The abbreviations used are:
1 YQ - Yearly/Quarterly; 2 W (R.O.) - Weekly (Rail Only); 3 W (R/B) - Weekly Rail/Bus; 4 S (R.O.) - Single Rail Only;
5 R (R.O.) - Return Rail Only; 6 M (R/B) - Multitrip Rail/Bus; 7 D.T. (R/B) Double Trip Rail/Bus; 8 W (R/B) - Single Rail/Bus
