These are the first AFC roll-type general purpose issues.
The top right hand corner on the rear was either blank, or had the letters "A", "B" or "C".
The lower right hand corner had the letter "A" followed by either a blank or
a series of numbers always commencing at 1, then ascending in sequence to 6.
Earliest known date: 10th May 1993 (Official AFC launch date)
Eight adverts are known - two promoting CityRail's move towards a "World Class System" and six promoting the new ticketing system.
The first four adverts only appeared on rolls with a blank upper right hand corner.
The next four adverts were printed on all rolls with "A", "B" or "C" in the upper right hand corner.
