Page last modified/checked: Tuesday, 12th August, 2008

This section shows the progressive changes that occured to the format/wording on the rear of ALL Neighbourhood tickets. Note that only two-hour and daily travelcard tickets have been used to illustrate these changes. The left hand example was used on all travelcard type tickets and some neighbourhood tickets for the first acounting period only. The right hand example was used only on neighbourhood type tickets for that period.

From the first accounting period all travelcard and rail weekly tickets as well as the seven for five tickets used the back shown below. From the second accounting period all neighbourhood and travelcard type tickets used this back as well. This gave a standardised back to all ticket types for at least the next four years.

From the accounting period commencing 1st March 1987 "NOT TRANSFERABLE" replaced "For use by Purchaser only" on all ticket types.
