Booking Office Machines (BOM's)Page last modified/checked: Sunday, 14th November, 2010The BOM's are located only at manned stations. There are two different types of BOM, designated "065" and "066". The "065" are "standard" built-in machines, whilst the "066" are portable machines, fitted with a battery back-up. There are 91 known 065 machines but only three known 066 machines. The whereabouts, or even reason, for the missing numbers is unknown. It is not known if these machines even exist - if anyone finds a ticket from one of these "missing" machines, could they please advise us. Below is a list by machine number of all known 065 and 066 machines (current to 11/2010). A blank to the right of the number indicates machine not installed, or not known. |

Replaced by 065 1116 since 7/2000 065 1086 is a new installation at Watergardens since 1/2002 065 1090 is a new installation at Surrey Hills (Up) since 10/2001 065 1111 is a new installation at Parliament 065 1139 is in use at an unknown location 065 1071 is a new installation at Narre Warren since 10/2003 065 1013 is in use by Onelink prior to 9/2003 065 1077 is a new installation on the Telstra Dome walkway, prior to July 2003. 065 1085 is a new installation at Upfield since May 2004. 065 1087 was transferred from the Spencer St/Docklands subway to Telstra Dome walkway 065 1075 is a new installation at Spencer St southern concourse by early 2006 065 1096 was transferred from the Spencer St subway to the southern concourse during 2005 065 1082 was transferred from Flinders St "B" to Flinders St "A" approx April 2006 065 1002 is a new installation at Craigieburn from October 2007 065 1077 was transferred from the Telstra Dome walkway to Darling (now a premium station) by 12/2007 065 1109 is a new installation at Flinders St "A" office prior to April 2007 065 1002 (Craigieburn) was renumbered to 065 1160 on Friday 14th March 2008 for an unknown reason. 065 1004 is a new installation at Bell (up) since August 2008 065 1113 is a new installation at Ferntree Gully from late 2009. 065 1123 is a new installation at Westall from the 11th October 2010. |
